About the Journal
Jurnal Penelitian Interdisipliner is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institut Nahdlatul Ulama Ciamis. The journal is published biannually—in June and December—and serves as an open-access platform for scholarly discourse and research innovation that bridges various academic disciplines with Islamic studies.
This journal aims to promote critical, integrative, and transformative research that combines insights from diverse fields such as education, social sciences, humanities, health, law, economics, communication, environmental studies, and technology with the values, teachings, and principles of Islam. It encourages contributions that explore how Islamic perspectives can enrich, challenge, or provide alternative paradigms within interdisciplinary contexts.
The Interdisciplinary Research Journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews that:
* Integrate Islamic thought with contemporary academic disciplines
* Explore solutions to societal challenges through Islamic and interdisciplinary lenses
* Examine the role of Islam in public policy, education, ethics, social justice, and sustainable development
* Apply Islamic values in science, technology, and innovation
* Address issues of culture, religion, and pluralism within an interdisciplinary Islamic framework
Through its publications, the journal aspires to foster scholarly dialogue that not only deepens academic understanding but also contributes to the advancement of knowledge in ways that are socially relevant and spiritually grounded.
